I led the design and prototyping of a custom character creator and GIF keyboard integration for Discord, using Figma to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for avatar customization, while maintaining alignment with the Discord brand.
My focus was on crafting seamless design elements and ensuring smooth navigation for users creating personalized avatars.
For the GIF keyboard, I worked closely with a skilled team proficient in After Effects, collaborating to create dynamic GIF animations and demonstrate their integration into Discord’s messaging platform. While I designed the user interface and overall experience, the team played a crucial role in animating and fine-tuning the GIFs. Together, we showcased how users could easily search, share, and interact with custom avatars and animated content, enhancing personalization and communication within the app.
